The armor cote is progressing nicely. The gussets are in and the quartered panels have been joined. All that is remaining is the join with the lining, buttons and the trim. Roughly 3-4 hours more work.

I have all the parts of HRH Rapier armor cut out. Piecing the stripes is the most difficult part of this armor, as all the stripes must go the same way. The pieces are designed in such a way as the sleeves will be appropriately counter-changed: stripes with the yellow, yellow with the stripes. This armor still needs to be sewn together, though all the pieces have been cut and buttons have been located.

Ian Raven’s armor, parti-colored cote is well under way. The hood has been completed, the main cote/ lining have been sewn and the pieces have been final fitted. All that is left is the join, hosen and the finish work (and the buttons, which I have passed on to him).

I have been working on a cassock that will become part of the barony’s rapier champion regalia. All that’s left is to attach the sleeves and paint the rapier logo on the front.
Project details:
The first armoring hood has been completed. Project highlights:

2. The hood is reversible, with side 2 in solid black.
3. Crenelations, gores and edging hand sewn.
4. Main hood seam lines are machine sewn.
5. 3 layers of linen 5.3 oz.
