Update: Let them eat cake- Parts

16 Mar

Went shopping at home depot for cake parts. That’s right… Home. Depot.  Cake needs to be supported.  I picked up a  3/4″ 2 x 2 piece of ply wood, several 2′ lengths of PVC pipe, 90 and 45 degree elbows, a floor flange and a bunch of wood screws.I am all set to build the base structure.  Since the PVC has already been cut into 2 foot lengths, it is easy to know when I have hit the minimum height requirement.

Now all I have to do is build more cake.I have created a secondary cake flavor I’m calling Spanish Chocolate.  It is a nice light chocolate flavor with traditional Spanish drinking chocolate spices.

Eustace is coming along well too.

This is so exciting.  I will post pictures as I get the cake structure together.
