Alysten's Blog

About

You have found my online SCA project blog.

My name is Baroness Alesone Gray of Cranlegh. My persona is late 16th century English.  I fight in early 16th German.

My primary activities are costuming (mostly rapier armor, all eras and more recently heraldic clothing), rapier fighting, worked sugar and cooking/baking.  You can find me in the kitchen, working events, teaching classes and occasionally serving in official capacities.

I am a part of a fencing household known as the Tadcaster Militia.  Located in the Philadelphia, PA area. You can read more about me here.

This is where I keep all my recipes, class outlines, documentation, experiment successes and epic failures.  You may ask me about anything you find posted here.

Enjoy.

What an interesting blog. Love the Swabian dress so I’m afraid I’m going to lurk and keep posted as to what you’re up to.
